Tuesday: Father's Little Dividend (1951) This is the sequel to Father of the Bride. Stanley has finally come to terms with his daughter being married. He is starting to really enjoy life. He feels young and ready to take on anything. Then he finds out his daughter is pregnant. Suddenly he has to accept that he will soon be a grandfather. Stanley struggles to be there for his daughter while trying to convince himself he is still young. I thought this movie was alright. Friday: The Little Mermaid (2023) The plot is fairly similar to the original. There are even some lines that are the same. The changes are small. Ariel is stronger and more of a hero in this. The actress who plays Ariel did a great job. I liked the diverse casting. It's exciting that little black girls can look at her and see themselves. As cheesy as it sounds movies are my passion. They are my obsession. I watch a little of everything. I should have started this blog a long time ago. I have already seen so many of the classics.
