 Monday: Blackbird (2019)          Lily is a terminally ill mother of two. Her health is rapidly deteriorating. She has a plan to take medicine that will end her life before things get any worse. Her family gathers for one last weekend before she dies. Her oldest comes with her husband and teenage son. Her youngest comes with her partner. The two daughters are conflicted about what their mom is doing. Everyone tries to have a nice weekend but tensions run high and drama ensues. I thought this movie was alright.  Monday: Rosaline (2022)          Rosaline is the daughter of a wealthy man. She is smart and opinionated. He wants to marry her off. Rosaline does was she can to get out of these matches. She is in love with Romeo. They are from feuding houses so they have to hid their romance. Rosaline plans to meet him at a masked ball. But first she is stuck meeting her father's latest match Dario. They go sailing. She is late to the ball. In that time Romeo meets her cousin Juliet. They fall for each other. Rosaline is determined to break them up and get Romeo back for herself. She does whatever she can to keep them apart. Along the way she learns what she really wants. I thought this movie was alright. It was interesting take on the classic tale.  Tuesday: The Frisco Kid (1979)          Avram is a young rabbi. He is sent to the U.S. from Poland to be the rabbi at a synagogue in San Fransisco. When he gets to the East Coast he is almost immediately robbed. Still he is determined to make it to San Fransisco. Soon he meets an outlaw named Tommy. Tommy reluctantly helps Avram. He makes several attempts to leave Avram but worries what will happen if he's not there. They face many obstacles on their way west. I thought this movie was alright. Wednesday: Lured (1947)         Sandra is an American living in London. She works at a dance hall. One day her coworker goes missing. She is called into the police station to give information on her.  The police tell her about a killer who is putting ads in the paper asking to meet up with women. Later he kills them. They believe this is what happened to her coworker. The police want her to work undercover and help them catch the murderer. Sh...
