Wednesday: The Road Dance (2021) Kirsty is a young woman who lives on the coast of Scotland. She dreams of leaving and going to the United States. She wants more than just being a farmer. Murdo, her boyfriend, comes home after training to fight in WWI. They talk and make plans to get married and move to the U.S. Then Murdo and all the young men from the village are called to fight in the war. The night before they leave tragedy strikes and Kirsty is raped by an unknown man. She has no idea if the man who did it is now off to war. Later she finds out she is pregnant. Kirsty does her best to hide it and figure out what to do next. The war brings loss and pain, but they must go on. I thought this movie was alright.
