 Tuesday: Lady Jane (1986)         This is based on a true story. Lady Jane is cousin to the young protestant King Edward VI. He falls severely ill. His council is desperate to keep England protestant. So they have Edward name Jane his heir before he dies. Jane is married off to the son of a minister high up in the king's court. They hate each other at first. But soon grow to love each other. Jane is unaware of the part she will play. When Edward dies she is made queen. She does her best to make some real changes. But the catholics come for the throne and she pays the price. Jane only ruled for 9 days. I thought this movie was alright.  Monday: The Story of Three Loves (1953)        The first story is about a ballet dancer named Paula. During her audition for a major ballet choreographer she faints. Later when she sees a doctor she's told she has a serious heart condition. If she continues to dance it will kill her. After a chance encounter with the choreographer, who she falls for, she decides she can't live without dance. No matter the consequences. The second story is of a young French tutor, Mademoiselle.  She is tutoring a young American boy in Rome. The boy is bored and wished to be an adult. He meets a witch who teaches him a spell to make him a grown man. It works and he runs into his tutor. As a grown man he has feelings for her and they fall in love. The third story is about a trapeze artist named Pierre. He saves a young woman who tried killing herself. He learns she is athletic. Mac and the Young Filmmaker

              Yesterday I had lunch at Miss Delta. It is on N Mississippi. It is a cool neighborhood that I hadn't been to before. There is neighborhood parking. It is a decent size place. Longer than it is wide. It has a diner/bar feel. There are vinyl booths and diner classic tables. There is a bar in the middle with plenty of stools. One wall is all brick. There is eclectic artwork hanging on the walls. A couple crystal chandeliers hang above the bar. It's warm, cozy, and welcoming. Especially on a cold snowy day like yesterday. I got fried chicken. It comes with corn bread and two sides. For my sides I got red beans and rice (with pulled pork), and mac and cheese. It served on a metal tray. It looks like a lot of meat. But the chicken was actually sliced pretty thin. There was a lot of breading. One of the two pieces I got was a wing. There wasn't much meat on it. I didn't even try to eat it.
