 Wednesday: The Fly (1958)        After being caught murdering her husband with a mechanical press Helene has to explain what happened. Her husband Andre was a scientist and an inventor. He was working on a teleportation machine. Andre started with simple things like dishes and newspapers. Then he started testing it with animals. Andre decided to use himself in the first human trail. It went terribly wrong. With the help of Helene he tries desperately to fix it. I thought this movie was alright. It is pretty cheesy. Friday: Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris (2022)        Ada is a WWII widow who cleans houses for a living. She is still in denial about her husband being gone. She works hard and puts others before herself. One day while cleaning a client's bedroom she sees a beautiful Dior dress. She falls in love and dreams of getting one. Then Ada comes into some money. She decided to go to Paris to get a Dior dress.  Friday: Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)        After the events of Endgame Thor is lost. He's not sure of his purpose. He travels around with the Guardians of the Galaxy saving planets. Then he hears gods are being killed. Thor is worried about everyone in New Asgard so he returns home. There he meets his ex Jane, who now has the powers of Thor. Thor wants to take down this new villain. He travels with Jane, Korg, and Valkyrie to enlist the help of the other gods to fight this new villain. I thought this was a good movie. It was a lot of fun. There are some parts that are a bit much. The acting is a bit much.  First off I am probably only going to post every other week. I'm just not watching that many movies right now.         Yesterday my parents and I hiked the Wahclella Falls Trail in the Columbia River Gorge. Before that we had lunch at Sugarpine Drive In. It is in Troutdale off the Historic Columbia River Highway. There is a parking lot put it's small. You also have the option to go to the drive thru. There is some indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. It is an updated version of a drive in. It still has the feel of a drive in but with modern touches. It takes inspiration from the nature it is surrounded by. The decor is very simple. Like a clean modern cabin. There is a meat smoker going. So you feel like you're by a campfire. There is a Hawaiian food truck nearby that is part of the restaurant. There was live music. I want to say it was bluegrass music, but I'm not sure.
